Services:

Funeral services will be held, Saturday, February 17, 2018, at 11 AM at the Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, www.ruggierofuneralhome.com, 126 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Pen Argyl.  There will be a visitation beginning at 10 AM until time of services at the funeral home.   Interment will be in St. Elizabeth’s Cemetery, Pen Argyl. 

Memorials:

George D. Tucker
 
Born: December 2, 1931
Died: February 5, 2018

George D. Tucker, 86, formerly of Pen Argyl, passed away, Monday, February 5, 2018, at Brakeley Park Center, Phillipsburg, NJ.   He was the husband of the late Mary Elizabeth (Leedy) Tucker, who passed away, October 27, 2013.

Born in Oxford, NJ, December 2, 1931, he was the son of the late George M. and Mary Elizabeth (Popovice) Tucker.

George was a 1950 graduate of Pen Argyl High School.  He served in the US Army during the Korean War as a MP.  

Prior to his retirement, he served as shipping foreman at A. & H. Sportswear.

He was of the Catholic faith and was formerly a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish, Pen Argyl.

He is survived a son, Edward J. Tucker and his husband, Scott E. Garrison of Allentown, four grandchildren, Andre, Adam, Annmarie and Alex, two great grandchildren, Charlie and Molly, a daughter-in-law, Mary C. Tucker of Allentown, a brother, Robert J. Tucker and his wife Jeanette of Ackermanville, two sisters-in-law, Patricia Salinski of Allentown and Mary Tucker of Wind Gap, and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Brian T. Tucker, a sister, Vera Sisolak and a brother, Richard Tucker.
